Video Ad Spending on Social Platforms Is Constantly Increasing

Video marketing has become the center of attention of all popular social networking websites ever since  Facebook began selling autoplay video advertising in 2014. People are spending a great amount of their free time on social networks, which is the main reason why marketers are looking that way.

After 2014, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram have started to do everything in their power to adjust their platform to video marketers needs, and marketers have started to invest a significant part of their budget in social video. Here are fresh trends marketers need to follow if they want to successfully promote their business online through social video.
12% of US #marketers have bought autoplay video ads on #Facebook and around 57% plan to do it in the following months Click To Tweet

Facebook Video

Among all social media channels, Facebook remains number one when we are talking about video marketing campaign. The survey done by RBC Capital Markets and Advertising Age conducted in February showed that 12% of US marketers have bought autoplay video ads on Facebook and around 57% plan to do it in the following months. Only 7% have stated they don’t want to purchase Facebook autoplay ads. Advertiser Perceptions study done in  December 2015 shows that Facebook was highly ranked in the list properties that marketers said they planned to use for digital video advertising. Google and YouTube were the only two competitors that surpassed Facebook in the list.

People Consume Their Content Mostly On Mobile Devices

More and more people consume their content on mobile phones. Marketers are aware of that trend and are trying to adapt their content to mobile devices. Currently, 79% of B2B marketers stated they had a mobile-friendly site in 2016. The figure represents an increase compared to the state in 2014 when 57% of respondents said they had one.
To sum it all up, if you want to successfully run your social marketing campaign, you need to create quality video content, socially share it and enable its consumption on all devices, especially mobile.

Brid Your Social Video

We from BridTv are trying to keep in touch with the latest trends, allowing our publishers to fully enjoy all the benefits of consuming and sharing video content around the globe. There are two hottest Facebook video features we would like to mention that are created to improve your social marketing options:

  • Pre-roll for FaceBook Wall Feature – whenever you share your player on Facebook, our player will embed directly in your Facebook wall. If you chose to monetize your videos with a pre-roll, after clicking on the play button a, pre-roll will appear before your video starts playback.
  • In-Page Videos On Mobile With Autoplay – This new feature is designed to mimic the look, feel, and functionality of videos in Facebook news feeds, allowing your users to have a familiar user experience for video as they do on the hugely popular social network. Your player and video will autoplay on your site in the same fashion as Facebook video. Clicking on the muted content will bring up a lightbox, and, just as in Facebook, below the player, a related playlist of videos will display depending on your player settings.

Brid.Tv Supports  AMP project – BridTV has a lot to offer when it comes to fast and quality online mobile video experience.
