Twitter states it has 320 million monthly active users – up for only 4 million compared to the Q2. The total figure is only 307 million when you discount “Fast Followers,” (those who sign up using SMS). Growth in the US remained flat at 66 million, which represent the same number reported in the Q1. Twitter revenue increased 58% compared to the previous year state, to the figure of $569 million. Advertising revenue has been spotted up to 60 % ( $513 million ). Around 86 % of total figure was from mobile advertising. Seems like this social network’s slow growth mode has disappointed investors, which resulted in dropping its stock below its $26 IPO price.
