Video content shared on Facebook may serve you as a great call-to-action button when it comes to engaging, informing and attracting your audience. And now more than ever, as the latest stats show, Facebook video views continue to rise, and many industry experts predict it will outgrow YouTube. Although YouTube is still the clear leader in video sharing, delivering 3 trillion video views during 2015, Facebook is catching up, with a 2 trillion views this year.
It looks like Facebook is doing their best to make it a #1 video share platform. And they have the traffic to support it. We need not talk about the obvious potential for your business. Instead let’s talk about what you can do to best leverage Facebook’s video potential. (more…)
Brid’s YouTube syndication provides our Premium plan partners an option to easily export any video they add into Brid automatically to their YouTube account and channel. Once you have activated this feature you can easily syndicate your video content to your YouTube channel in Brid by using your Google YouTube login account. We use the OAuth 2.0 protocol to authorize Brid users to publish videos to YouTube. Brid’s YouTube syndication is “one-way” – that means your settings and content in Brid are pushed to YouTube, but the same rule doesn’t apply for Youtube, settings and content on YouTube are not dragged into Brid.
When you authorize YouTube syndication for one of your Google accounts you can’t change the Google account used. (more…)

When it comes to creating a blog or a website, and making it popular, there is a strong correlation between those brands who produce the most videos and those who get the most views. When brands use photos and videos in combination with written posts, they will surely create more attractive content and give their users a richer material about the subject they want to talk about. Many experts give advantage to video content over written posts, because video form is mobile, dynamic, shareable, and it can be far more engaging than standard text-driven marketing.
All Global brands have a YouTube channel, and no wonder as YouTube has 1 billion users, and 300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute. But if you’re a start-up video publisher and have a Youtube channel you should think twice before publishing your videos on YouTube exclusively, as YouTube takes 45% of all your ad fees and controls all aspects of monetization for you. Online ad viewability is a hot topic in advertising right now, therefore, brand advertisers want to ensure that their video ads are seen. Google conducted a study of their video advertising platforms, as they explain – to better understand video ad viewability. They analyzed two separate sets of data during April of 2015. The first data set consisted of video viewability across the web which did not included YouTube (Mobile video app ad views were excluded from this data set) and the second data set which consisted of video viewability data for YouTube, only this data set include both data from across the web and mobile in-app ads. According to this study, YouTube users have a 91% viewability rate of video ads, while the average viewability of video ads across the web (not including YouTube) is 54%. (more…)
You know that feeling of being anxious to find one particular spot in the video that you want to watch right away. The problem is that your video is too long and you’re repeatedly pressing the wrong part on a timeline bar over and over again. That can be frustrating and tedious to say the least.
That’s why a Storyboard Thumbnail Feature on a progress bar on any video player is a great way to find precisely what you need in a matter of seconds.
It lets you see an overview of the video content without interfering with video playback.
They way it works exactly is that it shows you thumbnail images of every 10 seconds of video length when you are hovering your mouse over the progress bar (timeline) without skipping to it until you press the button. It helps you navigate through the video content and easily find the exact moment in the video you’re trying to watch. (more…)
Gillian Anderson, the well-known American actress, most famous for her detective role in the X-Files series, announced her upcoming blockbuster movie “Robot Overlords” on her official webpage and shared her excitement over it with the tweet. This movie, which will invade cinemas on March 27th, is the British sci-fi action story about alien robots from another planet (no wonder Gillian is here) and one boy Sean (Callan McAuliffe) who is trying, of course, to save the world. In the movie directed by Jon Wright and produced by Piers Tempest besides Gillian, the leading role is played by an also famous actor, sir Ben Kingsley. We’re very excited to see this movie and we have watched the trailer over and over again already.
What makes us most proud here at Brid.Tv, though, is that Gillian uses Brid Player to promote the trailer for her movie. Brid Player is perfectly suited for HD trailers, especially after our 2.0 boost of performance and, we want to believe (no pun intended), that this is not an accident.
Saw a screening of @Robot_Overlords. So proud to be a part of this unique film. Can’t wait for it to be released on the world. -GA
