Social Ad Spend Increased Up To 50% in the Q4 of 2015

Kenshoo management platform stats show global search ad spend in Q4 2015 rose 8% compared to the previous year, while social advertising jumped 50% year over year among advertisers using this platform. According to these stats, the increases in social advertising are thanks to Facebook dynamic product ads, more available inventory on Instagram and higher CPC’s driven by new objective-based bidding strategies. The report shows that mobile took the lead in growth in both search and social, accounting for approximately all of the spending growth in search and social advertising in the last quarter of 2015.
