56% of Consumers Say Companies Should Feature Videos On Their Website

According to an Animoto study, 56% of consumers said that if a company has a website, it should feature some video content. The result of the study shows consumers were 4X more interested in watching a product video than reading about that same product. When it comes to the importance of brand videos on social networking platforms, the study found that 84.2% of shoppers have liked a company video that showed up on their news feed, and about 47.4% have shared a company video. The undoubtable influence that a product video has on shoppers before making a purchase proves the fact that  74.9% of respondents said watching a product video before making a purchase has proven to be very helpful.
